Chaos erupted at the local boozer in a quiet UK village after a daring sheep climbed on top of the roof.
Hilarious photos show how the intrepid farm animal managed to climb onto the roof of a pub called ‘The Fleece’ in Ripponden, West Yorkshire.
It was spotted roughly six metres (20ft) up on the top of the quaint countryside boozer on Friday afternoon.
Guests who were attending a wedding at the venue were stunned when they saw it striding along the top of the nearly 300-year-old boozer.
And even the traffic around the pub was brought to a standstill as locals watched the woolly animal happily trot about.
Thankfully the sheep, which had managed to get up from the back of the property, was later coaxed down and is now grazing in a field.
Owner of the The Fleece Countryside Inn Mark Parkinson said: “Not your typical Friday afternoon! You really couldn’t make it up.
“One of our staff shouted, ‘There’s a sheep on the lawn!’ – which isn’t all that unusual in the countryside.
“But, just minutes later, the same sheep was spotted on the roof!”
Mr Parkinson added: “He wasn’t content with simply grazing; he had to make a grand appearance, creating absolute chaos—right in the middle of a wedding, no less.
“Traffic outside came to a standstill, with people stopping to stare and ask themselves, ‘Is that really a sheep… on the roof?
“It may sound unbelievable, but the sheep certainly pulled it off!
“Rest assured, no harm came to our woolly visitor, who’s now back in his field, happily chewing grass.”
