An Anglesey man has admitted possessing extreme pornography involving sexual acts with a tortoise.
James Owen, 30, from Llanfechell, also pleaded guilty to having an indecent image of a child in the most serious category of child sexual abuse, BBC News reports.
Caernarfon Magistrates’ Court heard a Metropolitan Police probe into another individual had led officers to Owen, who had received a category A child abuse photograph.
Owen’s electronic devices were seized from his home, with authorities finding four pictures and 24 videos of a person performing sexually with a live animal, according to the outlet.
Owen must now register with the police as a sex offender, following his release on bail.
He is expected to be sentenced at Caernarfon Crown Court next month.
